Location
Jakarta, ID

Project Scope & Result

Design and renovation of chemistry, physics, and biology laboratories, integrating specialized planning, engineering, laboratory furniture, safety considerations, and a dedicated scientific heritage museum.

Modernizing Science Education

For Santa Ursula High School in Jakarta, Amerta Corona is transforming the chemistry, physics, and biology laboratories into contemporary learning environments designed for modern science education. The project continues the evolution of an Ursuline educational institution with more than 160 years of heritage in Indonesia, while creating spaces that can serve new generations of students.

Chemistry, Physics & Biology Laboratory Design

The laboratories are designed around Cambridge-standard science learning requirements, integrating specialized laboratory planning, safety, ergonomics, engineering systems, storage, laboratory furniture, and flexible spaces for practical experimentation and collaborative learning. Each environment is designed to make science more engaging, accessible, and relevant to the way students learn today.

Preserving Nearly 100 Years of Scientific Heritage

At the heart of the project is a dedicated laboratory heritage museum, preserving and displaying scientific instruments and laboratory artifacts dating back nearly a century. By placing these pieces within the new learning environment, the project creates a meaningful dialogue between past and future—celebrating generations of scientific education while inspiring curiosity, discovery, and innovation for those yet to come.
