How are cost and duration determined?
A floor-area rate alone does not describe the complete project. Existing site conditions, finishes, engineering requirements, furniture, working hours, access restrictions and building approvals affect the quotation and schedule. Compare proposals against the same drawings, quantities, specifications, inclusions and exclusions.
What information is needed before starting?
Provide the site location, floor plan, approximate area, desired completion date, available building guidelines and the required scope. For an occupied office, identify which activities must continue during construction so phasing can be discussed.
